Dr. Y Krishna Mohan Naidu is the Director of the Post Graduate College. He did his graduation from Nizam College one of the reputed colleges of Osmania University. He did his M.com from Pragati Mahavidyalaya PG College and MBA from JNTU, Hyderabad. He has also done PGDFM and LLB. He has also qualified in NET. He did Ph.D. from Osmania University.
He commenced his career as a lecturer in commerce in July 1986 at Pragati Mahavidyalaya, one of the leading colleges in Osmania University.
He held different administrative positions viz. Co-ordinator of PG Diploma courses, Vice Principal, IQAC Co-ordinator of NAAC etc. He has become the Principal of Pragati Mahavidyalaya Degree and Post Graduate Colleges.
He has been the Research Supervisor for Ph. D. and M.Phil. scholars and so far produced several Ph.D. students and M.Phil. students from Osmania University, JNTU, Nagarjuna University etc., He has organized several UGC sponsored seminars and published several articles in leading journals and also attended National and International Seminars and conferences.
He was an Academic Counsellor in IGNOU and Dr. B R Ambedkar Open University. He was the event director for several Management meets and Commerce Meets conducted by the College. MBA Management Meets like FERVOR-96, METAMORPHISIS, SANKALP were a grand success under his guidance.
He was also the Placement Officer for the Degree and PG College and has been instrumental in placing several B. Com, B.Sc., BBA, MCA, M. Com and MBA students in leading companies.
He has conducted several University exams as Chief Superintendent. He has successfully handled the Degree and PG admissions for several years.
He has been awarded Fellowship by Bhabha Institute of Management, Udaipur (FBIMS).
Under his dynamic leadership as Principal, Pragati Mahavidyalaya College, he has brought good reputation to the College. The Collage has received the “ASIA BEST EDUCATION AWARD” in December 2019.
He was the president of the Pragati Mahavidyalaya Employees Co-operative Society and the President of the TACTA Unit of the College.
He has been associated with the academic activities of the college and has guided several MBA and M.com students as project guide. He has received the BEST COMMERCE FACULTY Award from IPA in 2006 and from Magnus Business School as well as Lions Club and IIMC. Recently he has been awarded the BEST Director Award from Ambitions Education Academy.
Under his able stewardship the PG College is surging ahead with smooth administration and discipline. He is a seasoned educator with over 35 years of experience in the field of Commerce and Management education. He was also as trainer at AP Productivity Council and has taken several training sessions at NTPC, Singarani Colonies, MIDHANI, BDL, BSNL etc.,
